Our departments
Six departments make up the business. Each page shows the purpose, the people, the measures that matter and the systems the team works in.
Design Studio
The Design Studio turns client briefs into garment, textile and footwear designs. It researches trends and technical requirements, sketches and illustrates concepts, develops print and colour ranges, and prepares the design side of every tech pack before it moves to the Pattern Room.
Pattern Room
The Pattern Room builds blocks, drafts and grades patterns, drapes where needed, cuts and sews prototypes and produces costed markers. It owns the fit process, records every pattern change against the tech pack and releases approved patterns and markers to the cutting room.
Production
Production covers the cutting room, sewing floor, pressing and finishing at Brunswick. It plans daily output against work orders, lays up and cuts fabric, sews and finishes garments, and keeps machines, needles and pressing equipment safe and set up correctly for each style.
Footwear Workshop
The Footwear Workshop at Preston makes short-run and custom footwear and carries out repairs. The team clicks and closes uppers, lasts by hand and machine, attaches soles and heels, and finishes footwear, while managing adhesives, solvents and dust under the chemical safety controls.
Quality and WHS
Quality and WHS runs the controlled document system, inspection program, incident and hazard reporting, chemical register and training records for both sites. It investigates defects and incidents, drives corrective actions, and prepares the business for client audits and ethical sourcing reviews.
Supply and Dispatch
Supply and Dispatch sources and receives fabric, leather, trims and chemicals, keeps stock records, and packs and dispatches finished goods. It manages supplier ethical sourcing declarations, inspects incoming rolls and hides, and coordinates freight so that orders arrive complete and labelled correctly.
